I am Kamran from Pakistan, 30 years old, studying in Rostock (Germany)

I bought my first camera, a DSLR, in 2005 and started taking pictures since then. Soon I realized the fact I had fallen in love with Photography. Photography completely changed the way I percieve the world around me. It evokes my emotions and at the same time gives me a medium to express. So naturally I take pictures as a response to what I see oustside and feel inside. I only photograph people. I meet new people everyday on the street, try to know them through taking their pictures and engaging in conversation with them. In this way, I learn about the world around me. After years of living in complete shyness among a closed circle of friends I adopted photography as a tool for self-discovery and social interaction.
