Birthday Present
This sexual equality stuff has gone mad. I thought it was men who were supposed to buy their wives kitchen appliances for Xmas/Birthdays and promptly get divorced or hit over the head with a rolling pin?
We've been making that many cakes etc recently with our 18 year old electric whisk that I'd been speaking about buying one of these top of the range monsters after i watched it being used on a BBC cooking programme. Seems like there is an attachment available to do just about anything with its motor.
Mrs P surprised me with it as a birthday present this morning. Not only is it the first kitchen appliance shes bought as a present, but it's also the first online purchase she's ever done...normally its my card & wallet that's skinned for her stuff ;)
Had a wonderful day today (apart from work), lots of nice pressies, and Mrs P baked a very tasty chocolate cake and dinner for this evening (diet was right out the window today). Plus, when the kids were at swimming this evening i got to play around in the "studio" taking shots and playing around with lighting then photoshop effects. Bliss. Wish every day was my birthday.
Very happy how this shot turned out considering it was backlit.
