The Warrior and the Water Carrier #1

Haven't been anywhere today. Hadnt taken any photos at home either... Blipless.

The only way to blip was to grab an object and see what could be done.

The item in this photograph is a metal African sculpture about 1ft to18 Inches tall. I placed it next to the wall turned them profile on, facing the nearby lamp. I then positioned myself and the sculpture so lamp would give a rounded gradient glow to look like sunlight and took a few shots. The resulting image has then obviously been giggled and prodded a little. Contrast up, highlights down, shadows up, color temperature up and sharpness up. Brightness was then brought down to get the texture of the wall paint to show and the shadows to show more details of the faces.

This sculpture also casts great long shadows. I'll experiment with that on another day... another time... another blipless night.
