Investment Club - EGM

Our Treasurer does not want to continue and, since no one else wants to take it on, we agreed to disband - end of an era - we started it 12 years ago! It's been fun - no one has made a fortune (or even close) but we have saved a bit of cash that would otherwise have been spent and each person has come out with a little bit more than we put in.

We all get on so well, have agreed to meet up occasionally for a meal - maybe when our member who now lives in Orkney is down for a visit.

One more meeting to agree the final accounts and disbursements - then that's it!

We got Irene a nice box of red wine and some flowers - a small thank you for all the hard work she has put in each month.
