Here's BABY!!!

Today was both exciting and scary for me. I woke up weak and feverish. I was dizzy, disoriented and scared. My friend was visiting from over an hour away. She's an EMT and she took one look at me and told me to call my doctor.

The doctor checked all my vitals, my blood pressure, heart rate, sugar levels, dehydration levels, etc. In the end, everything checked out, and it was finally decided that all the pregnancy symptoms hit me hard and fast, all at once.

Just to make sure that is all was well, my doctor ordered an ultrasound.

This is the result. One, very much alive, baby. Its heart rate was 167 beats per minute.

I even got to see it move. It wiggled around a little while we were watching it on ultrasound.

It's too early to tell if it's a boy or girl, but we do know it is healthy and moving around with a good, strong heartbeat.

Though today was really scary, I could not have asked for a better result.
