Hello Berlin!

It's been ages since I had been to Berlin last. Can't even remember when. When I was a teenager my mom and me went to Berlin rather often. It was our shopping mecca :) Only once I moved away the only thing I got to see more frequently of Berlin was the airport.

The weather was amazing this weekend. We got up quite late and went to Hackischer Markt for breakfast. First time this year that it was warm enough to sit outside. Brilliant! This was followed by a little stroll around the shops before we headed to a Thai restaurant for dinner and drinks with friends. All in all a much needed relaxing day ...

On this photo you can see one of the main attractions: the TV Tower on the Alexander Square which is located in the old eastern part of Berlin. If you ever happen to be in Berlin, I can recommend to go up there as obviously the view is pretty cool.
