freedom of the human spirit -- 200th blip!
as my recent blips can prove, i haven't been feeling my best nor highest lately. it's been a long, busy winter, and i can think of many complaining words to describe it, but i won't.
today's the first weekday of daylight savings, and i'm completely in love with it. as you can see in today's blip, the snow is gradually melting and i can't wish for anything else. the feeling of spring is emerging and it makes everything okay. :)
since the winter began, i've let many things weigh down my spirit. constantly feeling down, i'm sure i've dragged some people around me down as well. i'm trying to end that now, because spring is coming and there's no reason to not keep my chin up. i'm blessed, and though my schedule is looking busy as ever and i won't have ANY time to rest, hopefully the upcoming weather and sustained optimism will pull me through.
for my (overdue) 200th blip, i drove to a nearby city to see what i could use. i've been thinking about "spirit" lately, so finding this was purely meant to be. this sculpture, named "freedom of the human spirit," is set at the center of a park. i'm not much of a sculpture person at all, but i think the name of it is absolutely beautiful.
so here's to my 200th blipday: may we all free our spirits of burdens and weights -- spring is beautiful. :)
