The fog fought the sun, and the sun won. Almost.

This wasn't the shot I wanted, not least because the sun is in the wrong place. Went for a run, and the fog was still thick down on the docks - wanted a shot of the legs of the oil rigs (in for servicing) sticking up out of the fog. But 15-20 minutes later, got back to the spot with the camera, and the fog had retreated! Still there further up the river though, lots of shots - and this one with the geese. Happy.

The fat ball is starting to work - we eat breakfast in bed every day, enjoying the view - today shared breakfast with a couple of bluetits (very nervy, didn't stay), and a couple of robins, who are really not made to take food from fat balls. They were doing their hummingbird impressions.... Hilarious, but the camera was not at hand. Been back a coule of times so far. I'll get them yet.
