nearly blipped a blipper....

today marked another day punctuated by industrial action
we are, of course, being very careful not to breach contract and the Union decided that a short, sharp, red gathering would have a noticeable impact and I think it did. There was a good turnout of staff and students, press coverage (yet to be seen) and supportive beeps from passers by.

But, I know that this is just the start...

On another unconnected matter, I am increasingly horrified with what Japan is dealing with. I am reading the newspaper and cannot get my head round this at all. My thoughts are 6,000 miles away with a country whose culture and history has for a long time been a rich source of inspiration for me. I wish everything ok and apologise if my words seem futile
