The Southern Steps!

The patio and steps at the back of the house are now finished, apart from a bit of rendering. It is super - plenty of room to have a couple of seats, a few tubs of plants and a dog!

The building inspector came along this morning and had a look at the foundation trench we've dug out at the front of the house. Looking forward to getting under way with building our sitting room! Must curb my impatience . . . we're building it ourselves and it will take as long as it takes! Going to make such a difference though - can hardly wait!

Yes, Ollie is filthy! We'd just got back from a walk through very muddy tracks! After I took this I used the Paw Plunger - an excellent contraption which I bought years ago and is just the thing for this weather!
