Spring is Near

Although today is St. Patricks Day I wasn't feeling the "Luck of the Irish" when it came to seeing a break in our gloomy weather pattern. We have been soaked with rain and cold weather for far too long and everyone is starting to feel the effects of it. On yet another gloomy morning the one thing outside that gave me hope that Spring is near was my plum tree in the backyard. I love these precious pink flowers. Somehow they have weathered through the recent wind and rain. They must be as determined to see spring as I am.
