Rube Goldberg Shutter Release

My son's sixth grade class were all assigned to construct a Rube Goldberg device that performs a simple task. After much discussion and debate, my wife hit on the brilliant idea of building an elaborate camera shutter release.

There are certain criteria required to get the maximum grade, so we have been perfecting the contraption for two days now... Just a few more tweeks.
