Oh, the joy!

Today was simply beautiful. The temps reached into the low 70s (21-23C) and we spent the afternoon outside. The leftover snow piles were melting before our eyes. I saw the daffodil and crocus leaves starting to push through the dirt. We drew a spring scene in chalk on the driveway. We ate ice cream outside. I think it is safe to say winter is behind us, but maybe that is best whispered :)

My daughter's motivation to practice for the upcoming recital hasn't waned. I've had "Ode to Joy" on repeat in my mind for weeks. I may be reaching the saturation point soon!
