Distorted reflections

Went flying today but not for long; too hazy to see much. Mr PicturePoems did his three touch-and-go take-offs and landings, which he has to do every 90 days in order to permit him to carry passengers. I love taking off - still get a thrill every time as the ground falls away beneath us. The weather made a bumpy ride, but I enjoy that, too. (Funny, as if it were a fairground-ride, I'd be scared stiff, but not so in a small plane, piloted by my husband, who is caution and care personified.)

This was one of five photos I took outside the hangar doors at Plymouth airport. The thick perspex distorts all it reflects, while its semi-transparency means the eye can see a little of what's inside; in this case, another private pilot towing his plane towards the doors. Poor chap's somewhat disembodied here!

Have not played with this image at all, beyond enhancing the contrast slightly. The distortions are exactly as you see them. Fun fun fun.
