We've been having gales Force 8 and 9 for most of the night and today. So it was off to the beach to investigate the surf, and what an exhilarating time we had.

Big waves and a big wind from the South West forces the sea up through The Sound of Sleat and delivers it right on to our beach.

It's so exciting to be out in this type of weather, well exciting for us but imagine being on a fishing boat. You've got to admire them.

So tonight we'll be listening, as usual, to the Shipping Forecast to see what tomorrow brings.
