New career, this way please...

What a day! Awoke at 05.00 hrs to the sound of dripping water on the ceiling, errrk. Fumbled out of bed, pulled the ladder out and investigated the c o l d loft.
It appears that our cold water tank has a leak, i cheerfully shouted to Karen.

Tried several plumbers, most of whom didn't answer, but thankfully one was available. During the visit the 2 plumbers moaned, tutted and raised their eyebrows at the possible cause. After asking what I thought the problem was they began with the bad news...nasty, you need a new tank blah new pipe work blah blah.

One began banging about in the loft while the other continued with his never ending list. When I informed him that I wanted a quote before they began he became very defensive and shouted to his mate to stop and with this they left quickly.

So, still in need of a fix and a plumber - bugger!
