Davis Arboretum

We spent the weekend in Davis, CA, where Pelicanguy presented a workshop at an education conference. While he did his workshop, I explored Davis.

Davis is home to the University of California, Davis, and is noted for its excellent bike trails and coop grocery store, among other things. But what impresses me the most about Davis is its arboretum, which runs along a river from downtown Davis through campus. The paths, much used by walkers, joggers, and bicyclists, have information on plants around the world as well as gorgeous views.
