Fcuk me

This is what we came back to today after a nice walk in the sunshine to Cramond Island and back.

"Oh look, theres a police man up there next to our car" Said I
as I got closer it looked like something wasn't right....and this is what we found

A learner driver had "lost control" and rammed into the back of my car, hit it so hard it then rear ended the next parked car in line and completely Fcuked the front end of mine up.

The car is just back from having its bumper replaced after a small car park incident which resulted in a new bumper and some paint work, looks like this time (if its not a write off) there is a little more work to be done.

At the time there was not much to say (especially as the Police had been called out by a passer by who said the learner had looked as if they were going to drive off), but now as the day goes on it's starting to get me really grumpy that something so stupid as this will have such an impact on our lives over the next few weeks / years (insurance is bound to go up now!)

OK no one was hurt and thats the important thing but not the best weekend for us.

Thanks to Dad who came and rescued us !
