Muriwai Beach

Took our first trip to Muriwai today - can't believe we've had this beach on our doorstep (well, only 30km away) for over a year and have only just discovered it! It was glorious!

This is the view south to the Surf Club and swimming area. To the north, it's just several kilometers of windswept black sand, driftwood and enormous pounding waves... and lots and lots of kite surfers!

We'll be Muriwai regulars from now on!
