Mountain Sunset

After an early start and a long dull drive to Stansted (in which we went a good 30 miles further than we should have) we made it, climbing up the steps into the plane just as it started to rain. But by the time we were over the Alps clouds dispersed some and revealed snow-capped mountains spreading out below us. We landed in glorious sunshine and were greeted at our little apartment by a lovely friendly Slovenian couple who gave us a very warm welcome and left us with bread and cheese and home made cakes and orange juice. We couldn?t resist popping down to the lake in the evening sunshine before coming back to make dinner. Slovenia! It feels hardly any time ago I first found out it even existed and thought hey, let?s go there.
