September 1982

It's taken me ages to try and do this with this old photo. Finally, it was quiet enough that not too many people were walking by thinking I was a total plonker. It was easier doing it in Princes Street Gardens . And of course having a team of technicians would help.

The original was taken in September 1982. the month that Grace Kelly popped her clogs, Billie Piper was born and the dingo baby trial started.

I think Debenhams was fairly new, and I think we were trying to get the reflection of the castle in the windows of the very modern looking facade.....
