Sun and a Birthday

Today was Constance's step-grandfather's 87th birthday. I made him a badge saying "87 today!" but he refused to wear it. Constance was most perplexed. She's a mere half on Saturday and will be wearing a badge for that. Constance, her granny (pictured), step-grandpa and I all went to Kenwood on Hampstead Heath to celebrate the passing of the years and enjoy the April heatwave. Constance wore her flappy sunhat for the first time.
