Big Bernie!

It was the day the Warriors joined the kids at the rugby camp, Professional rugby players galour, Al Kellock, DTH, Ritchie Gray, John Beattie, G Dog, Rob Harley, Max Evans Chris Cusiter, were to name only a few, but the highlight of the day was seeing Big Bernie Strotoni working with the kids.
Sadly Bernie is leaving the team at the end of the season after not being offered a contract allegedly :(
Bernie joined the Warriors in 2007, and has gone onto become a pillar of the team both on and off the field during his four-year Glasgow career.
He really is a favourite with the Firhill fans due to his reliability under the high ball and his socks transfixed with his ankles. He has featured in 65 out of a possible 74 matches so far for Glasgow and has been capped for Argentina 27 times. He has started every Heineken Cup match during his time at the Warriors and scored ten tries in both European and domestic competition.

Today he really showed why he is a favourite with fans young and old. He would be fantastic as a coach, but as yet does not appear to have signed with a club! The kids were eating out his hands, hanging on every move/instruction he gave them. What a loss for our team, Bl****** SRU, they are killing Scottish rugby both Nationally and the pro teams but enough! That rant is for another site :)
