Surfs Up!

Well today I thought it was going to be REEEEAAAALLLLLY boring! Mum took me on a little walk this morning by herself and I was so bored that I decided I didn't want to walk with her anymore, so I just sat down and refused to move. Mum ended up stealing a big stick from someones front garden for me to carry with me and then I walked. Naughty mum though!

Then they put me in the car and I thought, yay beach here we come, but no, just another pub for their lunch again. Even though the lady was really nice and gave me a little doggie biscuit and a bowl of water, I was still really bored.

Then after my lunch we got in the car again and I had almost given up hope of seeing any beaches today when WHOOOOOPPPEEEEEE we were at the beach and WOWEEEEEE I got to meet Granny, Grampy,Uncle Shaun and Aunty Beth.

This meant that I had 6 whole people to play with on the beach and to show off my swimming skills! I was sooooooo excited. They hadn't been to my beach before (well it will be my beach when we move here) so I was really pleased to show it off to them. It was lovely today.

The first thing I did was go swimming. The waves were quite big and I loved jumping right over them to get out to my ball. Then my favourite game was to run all the way back up the beach to whoever was sat on the towels, shake myself off, roll around on my back in the sand to dry off, then they would throw my ball back down to those by the sea for them to throw it in for me. It was a FAB game. I could have done it for hours and hours! This picture is off me surfing in on the waves, how super cool am I?! Mum did make me stop now and then for a rest as she was a bit worried about my little legs!

Then Granny taught me to dig! I LOVE digging. I dug a big hole with her and I kept throwing my ball in there and tried to dig it out. It was the BEST game EVER! I am going to try that in the garden later?!! I loved Granny, she was sat on the sand, playing lots with me. She never minded that I got her all sandy and wet. I made Aunty Beth all wet too. When I ran in from the sea and wagged my tail all around her. Tee hee!

Everybody had a paddle because the sea was so lovely. Even Grampy rolled up his trousers and came in. He said it was the first time in aggggeeesss that he has paddled. I am sooo pleased it was at my beach with me. I hope we move soon so that they can come and do it more often. All that attention I got was BRILLIANT ;-)

It was a bit like the paparazzi at one point. I was doing my normal posing for the camera (or just doing something cool) and Uncle Shaun was taking pictures of me with his GIANT camera, then Aunty Beth with hers and mum or daddy with theirs! I think some people thought I was a famous superstar doggie! (mum has just said I am always a superstar!)

There were lots of doggies on the beach but do you know what? I just thought, yeah yeah, i've seen you all before, so I didn't feel the need to run off after each and every one. I was more interested in who had my ball! Mum and daddy said they have never seen me so well behaved. I think everyone else didn't believe I can ever be naughty!

I am very very tired now. I am sure I will snore tonight and have lots of lovely dreams. Apparently we are going to the same beach again tomorrow for fish and chips for tea. YAY :-)
