Deuchars pollution man says sorry....

.....not since a very young Scobes asked for lemonade in his malt whisky in a bar in Speyside (and was quite rightly run out of town by outraged distillery workers), has a gaff of such magnitude been dropped. See here.
I still can't really believe that someone in possession of his faculties would ask for a Deuchars shandy.....clearly mad.

Anyway, it gave me an excuse to have a bottle in sympathy and use my splendid 1950's William Younger and Co crown cap opener.
