Oh Mr. Sun....

"Oh Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun, Please Shine Down On Me". This is the notorious Barney song I heard Carter singing ironically as I was snappng pictures of our golden sun rising this morning. What a beautiful site it was to see....and to hear. I use to dread Barney but I admit as my kids are getting older I sure miss some of those kids shows that they no longer watch.

We're very thankful to see the sunshine today. It's a busy day for us as I've been working very hard planning our schools annual Sock Hop and today is the day of the big event. Can't wait. So many fun things in store for the kids when they arrive. To have the sunshining is definitely a perk for today.
