Misty Morning on Bassenthwaite
The alarm clock went off at 4.50am and we decided to forget about early morning photos and grab some more sleep. The thing was I couldn't get back to sleep, so at 5.05am I was up, and I was out of the door by 5.25am leaving Mountain Travels in bed asleep.
I went to my usual favourite place at Bassenthwaite Lake to capture the mist. I should add it was freezing this morning and I had to de-ice the car! I spent an hour taking photos and by then I was cold to the bone so it was back home to breakfast and then back to bed to blip in comfort.
A leisurely bike ride later probably.....after a nap.
Taken with a Lumix G2, using ND filter and tripod.
