Jordanian Lunch
Backblipped.
Day 3 of our holiday in Jordan:
We set off early (08.30) and visited Madaba, where an early Christian church has a wonderful mosaic map, then Mount Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land. Next we headed further south to Karak but stopped for lunch on the way (late, it was after 2pm before we ate). This was a speciality dish of rice, vegetables and lamb. We sat outside under an awning with a spectacular view of the valley.
Best in LARGE!
After lunch we drove to Wadi Musa (the town next to Petra) visiting Karak Castle on the way.
I might write a bit more on this tomorrow ;-)
