Jacob's 4 week peronal nursery-project is complete. It's his fire engine! I'm well impressed. It's up there with Spit the Robot (TM). The paint smell took me back. And they let us take it home last night. I didn't have the heart to say - "Look, our house ain't THAT big". Every night they give us another 5 paintings/pictures of his. Mostly green fires or blue fires. Sometimes red with a hint of grey fires.

Excuse my cynicism but the media spin on this one is terrible. On the ten o'clock news last night they'd an interview with him in some desert (somewhere) and he said the word "shit" mid-sentence to camera. Yep, we're down with you too Harry.

2 years ago, when in Ireland, they charged us for bags in the supermarkets. I said at the time (to anyone that'd listen - so not even the wife, but anyway) that punishing a negative rather than rewarding a positive works much better in this case. Tesco started rewarding Clubcarders for bringing in their own bags - the effect? - nobody gave a toss. Charge 'em 5p - watch the difference in attitude now. 'Bout bleedin time.
