Hailstorm

Phew, we had quite a fierce wind- and hailstorm tonight!

Unfortunately our lovely silver oak tree, next to the house at the swimming pool, was almost broken in half by the wind, R snr says he thinks we will have to replace it, which will be such a pity, since it only really started to grow well this past season. We planted it just over a year ago, and had to replace it's 'twin' which was planted just behind the house, because it didn't do well at all, but this one was a real star!! We will have a closer look tomorrow morning in full daylight before we can make a decision. I will blip it tomorrow, since I've tried a few unsuccessful shots at it tonight!

Hope you had a great Saturday! We have a public holiday on Monday again, since it is'?Worker's Day' tomorrow! It is R snr's birthday on Monday as well! He is very glad to have a public holiday on his birthday this year!! ;-)

Oops!! Realised this is my 900th uninterrupted blip!! Wow, I am só excited!! I know it is not a number to be celebrated, but hey. only 100 to go to reach the 1,000 mark
