Photowalk around Inveraray Castle
A day of beautiful walks and Blipmeets.
We spent the morning at the National Trust Gardens at Crarae on the banks of Loch Fyne, enjoying a walk up the Himalayan Valley, a riot of colour from the Rhododendrons and Azaleas. Another blue sky day.
Our first Blipmeet was with furnacelass, taking in the views from her garden across the Loch. She kindly phoned ahead to arrange a meet up with Richard. He was just finishing work for the day, and then took us on a walk around Inveraray Castle grounds and along the river to some of his Blip locations. So we were clambering down beside the riverbank, spotting herons, identifying bridges, stones, planks of wood and all the things that make Richard's journal unique.
Thank you very much to both Blippers for making us so welcome in your part of the world.
