We've been meaning to go for some time but today we finally got round to going to the Camera Obscura in Edinburgh with the boy and Mrs MM.

A good time was had by all. A bit of an exhibit overlap with the Glasgow Science Centre it has to be said, but Edinburgh wins overall in our opinion.

I knew what I was expecting from the Camera Obscura itself, but the clarity of the imaging was quite amazing, and everyone had a great laugh playing with the image.

The rest of the various exhibits were excellent and very interactive too. The vortex tunnel is far better than the Glasgow one. Here is the boy playing with lightning, so to speak. No children were harmed in the making of this blip.

Well worth a visit if you've got a couple of hours to spare up in Auld Reekie.
