Young mountain hare

Another lovely day though a bit of cloud on the hills which didn't spoile the views.
Went up Creag Leacach and Glas Maol and had an excellent wildlife day. Flowers, including cloudberries, birds (sandpiper, ring ouzel, ptarmigan, dotterel, golden plover being the more unusual) and mountain hares.
Not far below the summit of Creag Leacach this little fellow was sheltering behind the wall just a couple of feet from the path and trying not to be seen - in fact Mr Rat walked past him. He stayed there for 2 or 3 minutes before running away up the hill.
