Local asparagus

These are the asparagus I use at work. They are grown about half a mile from our hotel and they are just brilliant. These bunches cost £3.50 each and they also sell odd sized bunches for £1.50 which I use for soup etc.

I know I have blipped asparagus a few times but they are so nice and definately one of my favourite ingredients.

Didn't see that much of the wedding today but we did run out of the kitchen into one of the hotel rooms to see Kate walk down the aisle. We did listen to the service on the radio though.
