King of the Castle

Firstly apologies to anyone on the backroads of Angus this morning for my frequent slow downs and emergency stops. I was looking for a wall that I knew was on the road from Arbroath to Letham which I did find and photograph then continued on my merry way only to screech to a halt when I caught this cheeky bird out the corner of my eye as I raced drove carefully round a corner.

I did try and get a more detailed shot but was not equiped for climbing grassy banks in the rain, so have gone with one of my first shots before it hopped down from the dyke and into the field, laughing at me in the rain in my flip flops.
