Spoils of the day

Mark and I did a few bits and bobs today. After putting a load of washing on, and then hung out we then weeded the veg patch and thinned out the carrots (although I felt rotten about killing the wee growing carrots that we took out), did some washing up of dishes and then went out.

We ventured out to Edinburgh Meadowbank TKMaxx as recommended by Marion, then to B&M and then to Asda. I shall list for you what was purchased (that is in the picture):

Table and chairs (and brolly, but not up here)
3 milk jugs in pastel colours
Brass square thing
Thing for wall at back of house seen at front of table
Red bucket with holes for putting strawberry plants in
White ball tea light holder that's hanging in the tree
Little coloured lanterns for hanging in the tree




We also got vimto ice lollies, pizza, toothpaste, shower gel, creme eggs, cool box, ice blocks for cool box, some shirts for Mark.

Apologies for the dying weeds the in background...they are in the process of being wiped out!

Rather good day all round actually. Got some good news on the job front too, so things are looking good!
