Finally!!!

I have been trying to capture the Red Vented Bulbul, but to no avail (Check out my unsuccessful attempts here and here). Today, just by chance, I got to know about the Bulbul's nest at my aunt's place and realized that my 200mm lens is not with me, which I normally carry but decided to leave it home today. As soon as I had taken this shot, the bulbul got excited and flew past me just above my head in her annoyance. I tried again and she charged at me again ... Thank God, she did not peck me with her beak.

I am definitely going back tomorrow with my longer lens. Other than this, it was a good day at work. The meaningful conversation with the Vice Rector has given me some food for thought. I am starting "In other rooms, other wonders" by Daniyal Mueenuddin today. I have heard it is good but I will decide that for myself.

For the record, the weather today was in the range of 32 to 44 degree Celsius with 30% humidity ... *sigh*
