Junior Prom 2011!!!

I had a very full day.

After getting no sleep after Dianna's Sweet 16 last night, I had an 8:00 bus to Hewlett for the Bulldog Invitational. I only ran the mile (4:59) and then I took some pictures before leaving the meet. They really went all out for this meet and the decorations were awesome. They had a mascot race that Marty ran in for us. He put his shirt around his head, got his nipples painted, and called himself the Wantagh Warrior. He won the race! I had to leave before the coaches' SMR. :(

When I got home, it was time to get ready for Junior Prom. And yes, I am a freshman but Elaina asked me to go with her so I did (and boy am I glad I did). First, I met Elaina at her house and we took pictures before we went to Emily's house. We met Kate, Tom, and Audrey there with Emily, Jimmy, Kaleigh, and Rob. We took some more pictures and then me, Elaina, Kate, Tom, and Audrey drove to the beach to take even more pictures.It was really foggy but we took our pictures and left just in time for the world to end (hahaha just kidding, we're still here). Then we sat at Kate's house and arrived fashionably late to Junior Prom. The theme was "A Night in The Jungle" and the decorations were pretty cool. It was a little awkward in the beginning but that was expected. Everyone loosened up after they ate. We danced quite a bit and left fashionably early. We went back to Kate's house, got changed, and drove to Ronkonkoma to go go-carting. I had a great time there and then we went to the diner at 2:30 in the morning when we got back. I got home around 3:00. I had such a great time and I hope Elaina did too!
