Windy day

So, the day started dealing with a flood - and I mean a flood, water was literally pouring in the building - in two of our teaching areas at College. Electrics all off, water sookers working ten to the dozen, mops and buckets everywhere - the problem caused by a blocked overflow pipe. Students and staff all had to be relocated to other buildings and clients cancelled for this afternoon and evening's appointments for haircuts, beauty treatments and meals.

Then came home, after an hour's slow-moving traffic on the infamous M8, to find the back fence blown down with all the high winds...
