Painter Man
The Lozarithmmas celebrations began a day early when I drove over to Dorset on Sunday. Skylarks sang in the sky, villagers put out bunting in the streets and urchin children waved gaily coloured handkerchiefs as I sped past, splattering them with mud.
Well, perhaps not, but my brother, thespotlightkid, did drive me from Dorchester to the attractive and historic seaside resort of Lyme Regis. I suppose you could call it a mini blipmeet. We spent a couple of hours on the seafront with our cameras, enjoying the colour and variety of leisure activities we found, and walking along the Cobb. We returned eating ice cream (rhubarb and custard, since you ask, very nice), having caught the sun a bit.
We spotted this artist who was painting the Jurassic Coast, including Golden Cap. The Spotlight Kid took a more all-encompassing view of the scene.
