Marischal or Marshall

Google "Marshall College Aberdeen" and you'll find that half of the results will be spelt differently. Even the Wikipedia site has it listed as ]Marischal College then lists the designer as ]Alexander Marshall Mackenzie

Given that Aberdeen City Council have spent squillions of pounds converting it to use as their new home, the name is irrelevant. From the moment it opens it's doors it will simply be known as "The Cooncil Building"

It is also claimed that Marischal College was Adolf Hitler's favourite building in the United Kingdom and that he would have liked to have used it as a residence if the outcome of the Second World War had been different.
Ironic huh?
