Personal Shopper

Does anyone know the going hourly rate for a Personal Shopper? I deserve a pay rise.

We are going to a wedding in a few weeks so C needed wedding-suitable attire. I do too, but yours truly can happily shop for herself because she's a calm grown up.

Mission: Go to M&S to make purchases.

Round 1: Trying on of 2 x 8 hangers worth of clothes. Making of comments clearly audible to rest of changing chambers"I fucking hate buying clothes. I have reached my limit now. I fucking hate this."

Result: Unsuccessful. Go back to Start.

Round 2: Re-think - cobbling together of various pieces of apparel. Walking around same aisles finding whole new opportunities that had been hiding from view first time. Momemtum builds.

Result: Success. Proceed to Wedding...well apart from the shoe department, but that's another day. Expect "They haven't got my fucking size again."

BTW as I am the Personal Shopper, Load Bearing Slave, I go off to find trolley. I find abandoned shopping list in trolley in front. I like other people's shopping lists and I reckon this was written by a woman for a blokey partner as exact brands are stipulated. I am assuming Gucci is a pet, not the luxury handbag designer.
