Thistle

We don't see many thistles down here in New Malden nowadays, but this one has sprung up in the scrubby land cleared last autumn behind the down line at the railway station, heading towards Surbiton. It is growing into a fine specimin - and I might come back and blip it again on a weekly basis until it blooms. Assuming the man with the weedkiller and the slasher doesn't visit first!
