NYC Postcard#1

First day in the Big Apple for the seven of us! Me, Anna, my sons and girlfriend, my sister and her son. A little collective to live for a week in an apartment neighboring Hells Angels NY headquarters on East 3rd street in East Village! It was a lovely contrast that our hosts at Sanctuary Suits had a humanist, new-age kind of image, naming their rooms and apartments after Buddhist and Hindu saints and also offered their guests to join them on Fridays sharing free food to the homeless of the city! Great project, isn´t it!

This first day we were anxious to throw us out in the madding crowds of the city! After having acquainted ourselves a little with the East Village environment we split up after lunch realizing that it would be best as we had somewhat different things to experience, and then gather in the evening to have a nice dinner together!

Me and A chose to take a sightseeing on an open roof top bus through the lower and middle parts of Manhattan to get an overview of the site. In the evening we had a lovely meal on an Italian restaurant in Greenwich Village!
