Jumping, Running & Skipping

Chloe has had a fun day. Well, we all have.

The three pups woke our granddaugher Ashly at approximately 6:15 this morning. She had spent the night to get acquainted with the "pooch routine" since she will be staying here to take care of them all next week in our absence.

Grandpa Fun was already downstairs making coffee. So Ashly let each one of them out of their little overnight houses and down the stairs they paraded. Once business was accomplished outside, they raced up the stairs and were not quite sure what was happening because they couldn't find me. Then Ashly coaxed them to the guest room where I was sitting-up in bed and the mystery was over. Little Mitzi is the only one who can jump onto a bed without the help of a chair or a human. So Ash assisted Max and Chloe onto the bed.

A little while later we brought them all downstairs so I could show Ashly the breakfast routine. I think they are all going to do quite well next week when we are gone to camp and Ashly is here in charge.

After Ash headed for home and Grandpa fun headed to work, I managed to get a few things accomplished and then late this afternoon I kept my committment to myself (to sit in the sun for a few minutes each day this week so I don't arrive at camp next week lily white). That's when I caught these candid shots of Chloe just having fun. She likes being outdoors much better than the other two; she loves the warmth of the sun; not having as much fur as the over two has something to do with this feature.

It's been a beautiful day with a high of 82 degrees F. Tomorrow is suppose to be more of the same.
