Viewing the Remains

By way of explanation -

Yesterday's soggy-picture sorting was necessitated by a fire - WhiteBalance's house in Cartersville caught fire shortly before midnight Monday night.

She's fine - no one was there at the time - and no one was hurt.

But the second floor is destroyed, and everything in the lower floor is soaked from the firehoses (hence the soggy photos).

But at least those photos were salvaged, and some of the furniture from the first floor can probably be saved too, providing we're allowed to remove it and dry it out soon.

As for the how and why - no one's sure right now. The fire department is still investigating that.
