Painting the Pylons

This is another blip from my occasional Bents Lane series. I seem to hit it just at that time in a morning when, recently, we've had a mixture of sunshine and showers. It's also a very long lane so there is lots to look at as I very slowly head up the gradual incline from bottom to top. This morning the sun was directly on the newly painted pylon, with the gathering shower clouds on the horizon and, yes the viaduct sneaked in the blip again! A house martin raced me down the lane tonight. There are lots of them flying in and out of the farm buildings up there but not a one in our nest sadly.
