1940's Weekend.....

We have been to the Seven Valley Railway today and they had their annual 1940's weekend, excellent day out although they have put an extra £6 on the ticket.
We saw a mock battle with Germans and Allied forces, they were taking a bridge with explosions and machine guns blazing, quite a lot of noise and smoke.

Loads of folks were dressed up in '40's gear, great hairstyles and seamed nylons, gas masks and a George Formby Look-a-like too.

I am in Spoons to up load as the Mobile BB doesn't work at the site, so I backblpped yesterdays if your interested.

Here we have an old time Bobby, a Conductress and two women all dress the part too.
