Mooching Sunday

It's been a day of mooching around. Firstly a long lie with some rather tasty coffee in bed then up for a Sunday 'fryup' brunch.

Then nothing. A couple of hours of nothing.

We started up again around 4o'clock on a food making spree. I set too getting tomorrows dinner ready, Spiced Aubergine in the style of that underrated god of the kitchen, Nigel Slater, then BB make some bread and rolls for tomorrows breakfast.

I then started tonight's dinner broad bean risotto which will be appearing shortly on my Food Porn page.

Did you know that broad beans were the only native European bean prior to the discovery of the New World?

I'm writing this to the sounds of the Kings of Leon drifting over from the gig down the road. Nice.
