Nyhavn

I spent the day walking around Copenhagen with Miss R Able today - really liked its laid-back vibe. I can't believe I've never been there before.

This is New Harbor (which is not really that new), a fairly touristy dock area with lots of sidewalk cafes. It's crowded, but lovely.

We also visited the free city of Christiania, a 40-year-old hippy enclave near the center of town. It was an interesting place - all ramshackle buildings, spontaneous art, and ubiquitous graffiti - but I wouldn't recommend the kebab-burgers.


Then it was back to Malmo for dinner at the Herr Klantz estate....
